The military history of Canada during the Korean War was very eventful. Canada participated on the side of the United Nations in the Korean War. 26, 000 Canadians participated in the Korean war, and Canada sent eight destroyers. Canadian aircraft provided transport, supply and logistics. 516 Canadians died in the conflict, 312 of the deaths were from combat. After the war, Canadian troops remained for three years as military observers.
