| - Hit Dice: d6 Spellcasting: Must be able to cast control winds. Feats: Combat Casting. Skills: Concentration 12 ranks, Knowledge (nature) 12 ranks. Special: Must be proficient in the scythe and have made peaceful contact with a creature of the air subtype. The wind scyther's class skills (and key ability for each skill) are Concentration (Con), Knowledge (nature)(Int), Listen (Wis), Sense Motive (Wis), and Spot (Wis). Skill points at each level : 2 + Int modifier. Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Wind scythers gain no proficiency with any weapons or armor. Air Magic: The wind scyther's caster level for air spells only is equal to whatever class granted her the spell plus her wind scyther levels. In addition, the wind scyther may activate scrolls that have air spells on them as though the spell was on her class spell list, and she was the appropriate level, whether arcane or divine. Whispering Wind (Sp): At first level, the wind scyther may use whispering wind, as the spell, three times a day, as a spell-like ability. At every odd-numbered level starting from 3rd level, the uses of this ability increase by one. Caster level equals the wind scyther's class levels. Gust of Wind (Sp): At second level, the wind scyther may use gust of wind, as the spell, three times a day, as a spell-like ability. At every even-numbered level starting from 4th level, the uses of this ability increase by one. Caster level equals the wind scyther's class levels. Control Winds: At third level, the wind scyther may use control winds, as the spell, once a day as a spell-like ability. Every three levels after third, the uses of this ability increase by one. Caster level equals the wind scyther's class levels. Whirlwind: At 5th level, the wind scyther gains the Whirlwind feat as a bonus feat. She does not need to meet any prerequisites for the feat. Air Empathy: At 7th level, the wind scyther may cast any spell with the air descriptor (as long as she knows of it) once per day. Caster level equals the wind scyther's class level. Furthermore, the wind scyther gets a +4 bonus to skill checks made to influence a creature with the air subtype. Great Whirlwind (Su): At 10th level, the wind scyther may call a powerful wind that acts as an empowered, enlarged, extended, maximized, and widened whirlwind spell. Caster level equals the wind scyther's class levels. This ability can be used once per day. The DC is Wisdom-based.
