Prince Regent was a title created and used by Jarahiya Haftiir, an Imperial Army general of the Fel Empire after the Second Imperial Civil War. He committed a coup d'état in 139 ABY against the government of Empress Marasiah Fel on Bastion, and founded the "New Bastion Empire". Haftiir intended to find an emperor to lead it, but for the time being the throne was vacant with him being the de facto leader. He was the only one who held the title in the Bastion Empire's short existence, and was killed during the Siege of Bastion in 143 ABY.
