After confessing, Paul was freed from custody since he was the primary suspect in the vandalism of the ski lodge. He is available to recruit following the events of the ski lodge because he is supposed to join for community service. Also, during Wendalyn's dispatch mission, it is revealed that Preston built a water bottle factory on top of the fountain of youth, which had materials she needed for her potions, but Preston gave her a tour and some samples at the end. Preston also seems to be shocked at how people aren't as rich as him. He also seems to only use Beebee, and doesn't seem to actually like her though she doesn't seem to notice.
