Simplicity 4719; 1940s; Unprinted Pattern. Women's Housecoat and House Dress: The top is softly gathered at the shoulder and at the lower edge. The pointed collar is cut in one with the front. An inset belt releases the soft fulness of the skirt and the wide front lapping is finished with a two-button closing. The slash pocket on Style I is smartly trimmed with self-fabric ruffling. The collar of Style II is made of a contrasting fabric which also trims the convenient patch pocket.
