The Duddeston Manor Estate was refurbished along with Cromwell Street Estate in the 1990s, while the other 2 estates (Kellett Road Estate & Rupert Street Estate) were demolished to make way for new low-rise housing. The estate is one of four that make up the Nechells Green / Duddeston complex of 27 tower blocks and part of the 67 tower blocks in Aston. The only tower block to be demolished in the Duddeston Manor Estate was Churchfield House.
