Chelsea Provost is an intense advocate of Learning to Read in Africa, LRA, which is a non-profit organization in the country of Zimbabwe. She was born in 1963, in the small town of Holland, Massachusetts. She helps kids learn to read at her community outreach center. She founded the program in 2008. She has been working on this program for most of her life, and was inspired to do it in high school, when she found out how poor Africa was when she was researching the slave trade.
