The SI84-F Asteroids were located in the SI84-F system of the Mid Rim's Corbett sector. Because the system was unclaimed following the Clone Wars, independent miners began settling in the asteroids in 18 BBY. The Galactic Empire took over the asteroids in 3 BBY and enslaved the miners until they were rescued by the Rebel Alliance in 0 BBY. The Empire used droids to mine the asteroids afterwards and they eventually abandoned the system.
