- Mr. Armstrong along with his wife were prospective buyers of 4 Coronation Street when the Peacocks put their house on the market in May 2008. Having been to view the property, the couple returned to make an offer of the full asking price. However, as they were stood outside with Claire Peacock finalising the deal, Jerry Morton informed them that Norris Cole had been robbed by three hoodies in The Kabin. Concerned that the neighbourhood wasn't at all suitable, the couple immediately withdrew their offer on the house. Credited as "Husband", the character's surname was given in dialogue.
- In Love Rollercoaster, he shows himself to be smitten with Roberta's looks. When he realizes he has said something inappropriate, he hides in the ceiling. When a disguised Roberta in a fat suit tries to use her charms on him later, he responds by puking. He is voiced by Mike Henry.
- Mr. Armstrong is a arrogant and tyrannical warden at the facility center. He is extremely condescending to those he deems as "trash" of society. Furthermore, throughout his duel with Yusei, he is shown to have a sadistic side, as he rigged his opponent's duel disk to emit shocks upon them receiving damages. As a duelist, he has no qualms about cheating, as seen by his attempt to spy at Yusei's hand during his duel.
