Born from the Mother-of-All-Monsters, Eve, Angelus has been around longer then any other monsters and many of the younger Celestials. He would remain on the sidelines though, occassionally making new vampires to keep himself company before mocking them when they were slain.

abstract	Born from the Mother-of-All-Monsters, Eve, Angelus has been around longer then any other monsters and many of the younger Celestials. He would remain on the sidelines though, occassionally making new vampires to keep himself company before mocking them when they were slain. Eventually, Angelus would come into contact with Superior Red. While Superior Red is aware of what Angelus is and the threat he posses, Angelus is still made a member of the Red Pirate Gang. Superior Red would hint that he originally intended Angelus to be redeemed of his evil ways to become the Red Ranger, but knew that it would be impossible, leading him to choose Wyatt as his replacement until Wyatt abandoned the Space Pirates. It would come as no surprise to Superior Red that Angelus would "pull a Judas" by selling Superior Red out to the Empire, leaving Jade with a deep grudge at the monster that allowed her father-figure to perish. Following the betryal, Angelus would join up with the ancient Daimon, Illyria , to have a little fun in Assiah before making his way to Earth to have a "family reunion" with Jade.
