SCNS Versimov was a Telmach-class heavy cruiser of the Silesian Confederate Navy. By 1881 PD, the ship's crew had turned to piracy, as was not uncommon with the SCN. They were in the process of raiding an Andermani freighter when the Manticoran light cruiser HMS Regal came to the civilian ship's defense. A long battle all through the system ensued, and in the end, Versimov was destroyed, about half of her crew being taken prisoner. (JIR1)
