After medical examination, they showed a malignant brain tumor to have. Van Staa stopped following the program Van Staa To Seven , but worked from July 1997 it participated in the radio program Evening Two . They also replaced the first quarter of 1998 William Duys in the program Muziekmozaïek and she could still be heard in the sport along the line . She died at the age of 34.
