Dean Turner (born June 22, 1958 in Dearborn, Michigan) is a retired American professional ice hockey defenseman who played 35 games in the National Hockey League for the Colorado Rockies, New York Rangers, and Los Angeles Kings. He played college hockey for the Michigan Wolverines from 1976 to 1978. Chosen 44th overall by the New York Rangers in the 1978 NHL Amateur Draft, Turner passed up further college hockey and turned pro in 1978-79. He even got into one game with the Rangers that season. Turner retired in 1983.
