Lorsque Revan ressortit du tombeau d'Ajunta Pall avec son épée, Shaardan l'attendit à l'entrée et lui ordonna de lui donner l'épée d'Ajunta. Revan, rusé, faisait mine d'avoir peur et lui donna une des deux autres épées qu'il avait trouvé dans le sarcophage. Shaardan tomba dans le piège et rapporta une fausse épée à Uthar Wynn qui le tua car il avait été naïf.
