Kes went through the rolissisin with The Doctor as a surrogate parent, but once Voyager moved past the aliens Kes' elogium stopped. The Doctor believed this elogium was caused by an outside source and that Kes would experience it again at the regular time. (VOY episode: "Elogium") In 2374 of an alternate timeline, Kes did experience the elogium but was able to control due to the advanced nature of her mental powers. Eventually she would allow the elogium to continue, having three children with Neelix. (VOY - Myriad Universes novel: Places of Exile)
