| - Her eyes snapped open as soon as she caught the scent of someone or something unfamiliar. An intruder. She tensed, scanning the area and reached for one of her kunai. Out from a different path came Ace Korimachi. As he walked forward, he glanced at the girl from a distance. The girl's eyes darted back and forth as she moved in a circle on the spot, she did a double take when she saw the faint outline of a figure behind a few trees in the darkness. Eimii's focused on where the stranger was and the figure became clearer as her eyes adjusted, it was a man. Noticing that he was taller than herself, she hunched over a little, dipped her head and raised the kunai she held in front of her in defense. "W-Who is this guy? What does he want?" She thought silently. Ace was studying the girls stance and clothing as he stopped, able to see her as if it was broad daylight using his EMS Release. Suddenly Ace began to glow with increasing brightness before disappearing altogether. He reappeared several feet from where he was previously, attempting to see how the female wound react. Once the older shinobi reappeared before her a few feet away, her heart almost flew up into her throat and she jumped a few times back to gain some more distance between them. As she was in mid jump, the brunette threw her kunai at him out of surprise and self-defense. Her heart kept a steady beat after calming down a bit but she still kept her guard up. "How did he do that jutsu?" She asked herself, her curiosity of the unknown jutsu being peaked. Ace suddenly struck the kunai with his Venus Katana, causing the kunai to split in half, with the two parts hitting the ground seconds later. "Who is this kunoichi?" Ace asked himself, with no memory of her in his mind. "She has quick reflexes and very high accuracy..." Ace thought as he placed his katana back in its shaft. "Just in case you were wondering, I'm Ace Korimachi... Pleasure to meet you..." said Ace, introducing himself. Grey-blue eyes widened at the kunai splitting in half by a single swing of this shinobi's katana. "Ace Korimachi? Never heard of him before." Eimii pondered. Seeing that he sheathed his blade she decided that maybe he wasn't a threat. Maybe. One can never be too sure, Eimii straightened up a bit but still kept her guard up. She swallowed before greeting shyly, "...H-Hi. I'm Eimii Runō." "Nice to meet you Eimii Runō!" Ace said while smiling. "What brings you outside in the dark this late at night? These woods can get pretty spooky at this time of day." Ace asked this shy girl with a welcoming tone. The girl leaned back a bit, slightly put off with such a friendly tone this man had. "Practising my night hunting and fighting skills." She answered quickly and simply, her posture straightened up a bit and she relaxed a little but still wary of this stranger. Ace could see the uneasiness in the girls stance. "I'm sorry, but am I making you nervous, or uncomfortable in some way?" Ace asked, attempting to figure out what was wrong with the girl. "N-No! I-It's just that it's uh.. rare to meet strangers this friendly." She answered stuttering her words a little. Like she was one to talk, she was half-way like him when she first met Naruto. Ace laughed and then smiled. "Are you always this shy around your family?" Ace asked her. She gulped and replied, "U-Uh yeah but.. not really, ju-just sometimes. Well, I-I.. only started living here two years ago." She explained hesitantly. Aces face change to one filled with interest. "In this region or somewhere entirely different?" Ace asked. "I've never seen her in any of the 72 Quadrants where I come from. Maybe shes from another univ..." he thought. Eimii scratched her head nervously, "I-I'm from a country that's really, really far away." She said, wanting to keep her homeworld a secret for now. "Well, that's nice to know. At least your country still exists... Mine was wiped from the planet..." Ace said as he looked down at the ground, slightly saddened. The young brunette cocked her head on to the side in curiosity, "Wiped from the planet? What country has been erased from this world? ...Maybe there are more countries that I've never heard of here." She thought. She felt a little bad for him at seeing this cheerful stranger grow sad at whatever memory he was remembering. "Well uhh..." she started nervously. "N-Not you can really do anything about that just.. y'know.. move on and tr-try not to let it bother you too much." She advised, trying to cheer him up as best as she could. "I've tried to Eimii, but it not as easy as it sounds... A few years ago, before my lover died, my baby daughter was in Hexoshigakure with most of my clan. "He body began to uncontrollably absorb chakra from the surrounding area. The ground that the Land of Plasma was founded on emits natural chakra. Well long story short, my daughter absorbed so much natural chakra that she suffered an Absolute Chakra Release, releasing almost all of her chakra at once. The chakra rapidly expanded and engulfed the entire village, killing everyone in it in an instant. My now deceased lover, Kiki Asannoo, felt odd and went to check on Niyya, and discovered the incident, rescuing Niyya and informing the Hokage and Hexoshikage of what happened..." said Ace as he then tried concentrating on something else. Her face fell into slight sadness at seeing him look so troubled. Her eyes left the man and travelled to the ground then to the surrounding trees. She wished there was something she could to cheer him up. An idea popped into her head. She walked towards a nearby tree and sat at the base of it, she looked towards Ace and gestured for him to come over to her. Ace saw Eimii signalling, and decided to go over to see what she needed. Once the man sat down next to her, she applied chakra into her index finger tip and placed it under her thumb then quickly flicked it up. The click of her nail made a red flame appear on her fingertip. She launched it to her other hand where the flame now sat idly on the end of her thumb. Eimii did the same thing again but this time there was a blue flame and it was launched to sit on her other index finger, she repeated the cycle where flames of different colours were moved to sit on the ends of all her digits. Colours of red, blue, green, yellow, orange, purple, white, black, pink and turqoise danced in their seats. She held up her hands to Ace to make sure he could see every one. "Hahahaa" Ace sounded with curiousity. "That's a very unique ability you have!" said Ace as he smiled. He moved his head slightly closer, trying to take a closer look at the miniature firebeings before him. Ace then held out both out his hands flat, and by his side. Then suddenly light shined from one hand to the other in the shape of a bow, creating a rainbow. Ace then began manipulating the light and the rainbow began changing colors. Eimii stared in awe at the colorful bow, the shifting colours entrancing her with child-like wonder. "I..It's beautiful.." she muttered quietly. After staring at it for a few more moments, she snapped out of her stupor and turned her attention back to the flames on her fingers. Pouring small amounts of chakra into the differently coloured flames and shaped them into the forms of different animals. They consisted of miniature versions of a dragon, a sea turtle, a butterfly, a swan, a horse, a scorpion, a shark, a frog, a gecko and a fox. She used her will to make them move, they began floating through the air yet still using the needed appendages for movement. The two watched as the fiery creatures danced around, lighting up the darkness and leaving tiny embers in their wake. Ace became mezmerized by the dancing creatures. Suddenly Ace formed a handsign and suddenly appeared like a very tiny version of himself. He then appeared on Eimiis hand and started dancing on her hand, attempting to give the girl a good laugh. "I'm a tiny dancer!" Ace said in a chibi voice while laughing as he continued dancing. The sight of the miniature dancing in her palms was amusing, and she laughed breathlessly at his dance. Then an idea popped into her head, she wouldn't normally do this but she thought that Ace seemed trustworthy enough. "Want to see another unique ability I have?" Ace looked at her while smiling, replying "Sure!" "Say a species of animal. Any animal you can think of." She instructed with a smile. "Cat" said Ace, as he loves cats, while trying to think of what the girl would do next.
