The 1966-33 was a Grand National (now Nextel Cup) event held at Islip Speedway on July 16, 1966. James Hylton dominated the event, leading 146 of the 300 laps before late problems dropped him to second. Instead, Bobby Allison led just eight laps in route to a two-lap stomping on the field.
