- The Huntsman is one of the main characters of Once Upon a Time. He was a lonesome hunter who only saw purity of heart in animals, and therefore despised humans to an extent. He was hired by the putrid-hearted Queen Regina to murder her fair stepdaughter, Snow White, but took pity upon the young beauty and thus spared her life. As a result, the Queen took his heart and forever ensnared him in a sort of thrall. Following the Dark Curse, the Huntsman was trapped in Storybrooke as Sheriff Graham Humbert, the strong arm of the law, and Mayor Mills' boy toy. He is ultimately murdered by Regina when he starts to deviate from her and remember his true self, falling for Emma, his new deputy, in the process.

- The Huntsman is an unlockable primary weapon for the Sniper. It is a hardwood recurve bow held together with black tape. When equipped, the Sniper will carry arrows in the quiver strapped to his back. There is a reskin of this weapon, the Fortified Compound. Since the Huntsman does not possess a scope the Sniper must get closer to his target to use it effectively. Pressing the primary fire button quickly will release the arrow rapidly, albeit with less power, making it easier
- The Wicked Queen once ordered the Huntsman to take Snow White into the deepest woods to be killed. She demanded as proof that Snow White is dead, he return with her lungs and liver. The huntsman took Snow White into the forest. After raising his knife, he found himself unable to kill her as she sobbed heavily and begged him: "Oh, dear huntsman, don't kill me! Leave me with my life, I will run into the forest and never come back!". The huntsman left her behind alive, convinced that the girl would be eaten by some wild animal. He instead brought the Queen the lungs and liver of a young boar, which was prepared by the cook and eaten by the Queen.
- It was the Huntsman's job to control the Wolfweeds. He commanded them with his whip. When he discovered the Fourth Doctor in the area of death, he had his Wolfweeds attack before ordering a soldier to kill him. Karela countermanded him, having the Doctor taken prisoner. He again used the Wolfweeds to attack K9 after the robot began killing the soldiers. After Adrasta's death, the Huntsman took control of Chloris. (TV: The Creature from the Pit)
- Approaching his target, the Huntsman grabs his iron claw, before swinging it in a downwards arc and piercing it into their left shoulder. As the weapon lodges itself into his victim, he kicks their left knee from underneath them, sending them spinning onto their back as his claw rips a savage wound when it frees itself with the momentum.
- Huntsman (referred to as Huntsmaster by his subordinates) is the leader of the Huntsclan and Jake's archenemy. The Dragon Council rates him as the #4 threat to the magical community. He is also possibly Rose's uncle. Throughout most of the series, his face was never revealed. In "Act 4, Scene 15", his head was glimpsed from behind and appears to be grotesque and bald. He has absolute hatred over all magical creatures, believing them to be freaks of nature. Presumably, he hates humans that befriend magical creatures, considered them "traitors" and wouldn't hesitate to kill them.
- The huntsman was rallying volunteers to aid him in a week-long hunting expedition when he was approached by Wan, who offered to join him. He initially laughed off Wan's proposal, but agreed to let him join after some encouragement from a fellow hunter. The huntsman and his team journeyed outside the city to awaken the lion turtle their settlement was built upon. He asked the guardian to bestow upon them the power of fire to aid them in their hunt; after the lion turtle agreed, the huntsman warned Wan to aim his fire with care while hunting. Upon entering the Spirit Wilds, Wan expressed second thoughts about joining the hunt. The huntsman, disgusted by Wan's cowardice, sent him back to the lion turtle to return the fire and continued his expedition without the young man.
