- New Troy is one of the six boroughs of Metropolis, located in the heart of the city. It represents the hub of Metropolis' central business district.
- Dominated by the docks along Hob's River, Downtown replaced the Old City as Metropolis's major waterfront area. Many famous locations and monuments are located here. One of these monuments is Monument Circle, which is a roundabout that has a statue of a Continental soldier from the Revolutionary War in the middle of the roundabout.
- New Troy was originally established by Jabari Bloch as a safehaven for Righteous Iron Fist soldiers during the absence of Fenix Hudson due to bans in the second half of the Fourth Gridwide War. Although Righteous Iron Fist has returned to activity, New Troy is still run by Jabari Bloch on the side as his own army. New Troy is an ally of, and protected by, Righteous Iron Fist. Jabari Bloch remains a member of Righteous Iron Fist High Command.
