The Intelligence bug is a bug found in both the NES and PS versions of Final Fantasy. In the game, Intelligence is supposed to be a factor in how much damage or healing a spell will do, or how effective it is, but is never factored in, essentially meaning that a Red Mage can use Cure just as well as a White Mage, with neither being better at it than the other.
