  • James "The Enigma" Thompson (born in Oxford, England) is a wrestler who wrestled in the CanAm Wrestling Alliance. He also wrestled for the IUWF and ACW ( Xtreme Championship Wrestling's farm league) amongst others. James "The Enigma" Thompson is often referred to as a loner, this is due to the fact that many of his previous alliances have all betrayed him. He first made a name for himself in the IUWF; although he never won any titles or have a very good win loss record he would manage to learn the wrestling ropes there. He formed a tag team partnership with his brother Daniel Thompson (Dozzey) until he was stabbed in the back by him. The Enigma then sent an application for the XCW and although they turned him down they allowed him to go to the farm league the ACW run by Ty Dhomie. The Enigma would have a short feud with Gaf before forming a short English alliance, which ended when Gaf cut all ties with him the day before he was promoted to XCW. He managed to achieve some success and won his first ever title, the International title in November 11th 2001. He was later screwed out of the title by Havoc and Bobby Idol, The Enigma was then promoted to Xtreme Championship Wrestling but decided to no show on his first scheduled appearance. The reason for that was he'd reunited with Ty Dhomie and joined his CanAm Wrestling Alliance federation instead. He stayed CWA until the federation folded after half a year. It is not known what has happened to James Thompson since then.
