German submarine U-528 was a Type IXC U-boat of the Nazi German Kriegsmarine during World War II. She was laid down at the Deutsche Werft (yard) in Hamburg as 'werk' 343 on 10 November 1941, launched on 1 July 1942 and commissioned on 16 September with Kapitänleutnant Karl-Heinz Fuchs in command. U-528 began her service career with training as part of the 4th U-boat Flotilla from 16 September 1942. She was re-assigned to the 10th flotilla for operations on 1 April 1943. She carried out one patrol but did not sink any ships. She was a member of one wolfpack.
