The Fighting Temeraire tugged to her last berth to be broken up is a painting by the British painter J. M. W. Turner . It was made with oil on canvas. It shows a ship called the Fighting Termaire, being towed by a tugboat to be broken up. Many have examined the painting, commenting on the majestic aptmosphere and light. It is still one of the most famous British paintings in history and currently resides in the National Gallery, London.
