Swarm Globes are a type of Spectre found in Orpheus. Swarm Globes, like many of the newer Spectre breeds, appeared when many of the Spectral hives bloomed at once, drowning the world in Spectres. Swarm Globes are perhaps the least malevolent of the new types that manifested during this period, but are Spectres all the same. They resemble balls of dark, dirty oil floating in the air and range in size from a fist to a toaster. Their strength comes in numbers; when they see a ghost that would make good hive fodder, they gather together and envelop the target in their bodies until another, stronger Spectre can arrive and subdue the victim. They are also particularly adept at camoflauge, and therefore are usually used in traps.
