Mark Downer is a minor character who made his appearance in Guide to: Making New Friends and Positives & Negatives. In the episode, he has a very pessimistic and depressing attitude. He's everywhere Ned is in the school, and Ned admits that Mark's a downer, but later, Ned finds Sarah, another negative person, to bring to Mark. They meet in the library, which has been turned into a time bomb, and they would get shocked if they kiss. They do it anyway and, yes, get shocked, but enjoy it. Because a negative times a negative is a positive, gotten from Dr. Xavier along with Cookie earlier in the episode, everywhere they walk, it's all good.
