Nicholas "Nick" Vachon (born July 20, 1972 in Montreal, Quebec) is a retired ice hockey player. He played one game for the New York Islanders. He played for the Boston University Terriers in 1990-91 and 1991-92. In mid-season Vachon transferred to the major junior Portland Winterhawks until 1992-93. The Toronto Maple Leafs chose him 241st overall in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft but never signed him. Vachon turned pro with the Knoxville Cherokees in 1993-94. He signed as a free agent with the Los Angeles Kings in September, 1995 and was traded to the New York Islanders two months later.
