Zodiak is a serial killer with powers related to each sign of the Zodiac and the ability to create mechanical doppelgangers in order to throw off pursuit. His doppelgangers also have access to his powers, but are more easily defeated. When the Ghost Rider first tracks him down, he instead destroys a mechanical doppelganger. Dr. Strange joined forces with Ghost Rider to defeat Zodiak, and they trace him to the realm of the Dykkors. He was created by the Dykkors so that he could kill humans. Human blood allows the Dykkors to grow in numbers.
