MISSES’ AND WOMEN’S PINAFORE: The square-necked bodice front is fitted with darts and joined to a pointed inset. The cut-out bodice back laps and buttons at the sides. Ruffling edges the front armholes and shoulder straps. A heart-shaped pocket, outlined with ruffling trims the dirndl skirt. In Style I, a wide ruffle trims the lower edge of the skirt. In Style II, embroidered edging is used for armhole and pocket ruffling.
