. "Downtown" Jeff Brown (born April 30, 1966 in Ottawa, Ontario) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman who played in the NHL from the mid 1980s to late 1990s. He played junior hockey for the Sudbury Wolves of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). Brown won the Max Kaminsky Trophy as the best defenceman in the OHL in 1985-86. During his career, Brown was considered to be in the upper-echelons of NHL defencemen. He was selected to play in the 1992 NHL All-Star Game and still holds many offensive records for the St. Louis Blues.
