Albert Eric Béchervaise (15 July 1884 – 20 December 1969) was a Labour Party politician in the Leyton area. Born in Leyton, he was a member of the National Amalgamated Furniture Trades Union. He was elected to Leyton Urban District Council in 1923. The Urban District was incorporated as a municipal borough in 1926, and he was made an alderman of the borough council, serving as Mayor of Leyton for 1930-31. He was a member of the Metropolitan Water Board from 1954-60.
