He then became involved when the gang stored part of their takings - tins of ham - in Minnie Caldwell’s coal hole. The police however were on to the gang and Big Nobby, Arthur and a heavy named Roland called on Eddie at No. 5 as they suspected him of grassing them up. Nobby translated Big Arthur’s finger snaps into words of English. Eddie managed to convince the gang of his innocence and the ham was taken away from the house. The character is also credited on Episode 1457 (6th January 1975) but does not appear.
