The Troner was Enasa's last effort to keep pace with the European truck market leaders, but this did not prevent the company from losing market share and money and eventually to be taken over by the Iveco group. Nevertheless Troners were successful in Spain and got appreciable sales figures in the Benelux, UK and France. Troner production ended in July 1993.
