| - The Star Trek: The Movies - 25th Anniversary Collectors Set was a VHS collection - catalogue number VHR 2592, rated 15 - released by CIC Video in the UK in 1992 , to mark the 25th anniversary. The collection contained the first five Star Trek films in a single boxset, and came bundled with a separate cassette featuring the Star Trek 25th Anniversary Special documentary. The boxset was deleted on 1 June 1996 . The set was also released in the US in 1991 by Paramount Home Video. This set came with just five tapes, omitting the 25th Anniversary Special documentary. Two special versions were also produced, both of which were called Star Trek: The Movies - 25th Anniversary Collection. One of these used dark blue packaging and came with three commemorative enamel pins and an introductory insert card signed by Gene Roddenberry. There was also a limited version released of 1000 copies (each copy being numbered) in red packaging that in addition included a frameable autographed document from William Shatner. A similar set was also released in France around the same time, titled Star Trek Les Films - Coffret Anniversaire. As with the US set included were the first five films, each on an individual cassette.
