It's unknown what would "happen". Maybe Soul Edge would devour Soul Calibur etc. Although in Soul Calibur 3 they are fused together in an "Embrace of Souls" (Kilik has a weapon of the same name made from SE and SC). But who knows? And as a footnote, it's just a game so I wouldn't worry about it too much :)
