Slats is a bigfoot who was strolling in the Andes until a mountain climber thought he saw the abominable snowman. His shouts caused an avalanche and he was trapped in a block of ice. It was put on display in the Mystery Vortex, among other oddities. He was in the room with the upside-down gravity, until Bruno and Trixie rescued him. As he was part of the Mystery Vortex, Slats believed that the aliens will come to save the world and he is fasting in anticipation of that event and for this reason he is very thin for a bigfoot. He also believes that Conroy Bumpus is an alien from planet Snargton.
