H.G. Rosier is a former NASCAR driver from North Augusta, SC. He competed in eight Sprint Cup Series events in his career, earning two top-tens. Rosier's debut came in 1962, when he competed at Augusta. Starting 15th on his home track, Rosier lost a rear end gear near the halfway point and finished 17th. He also finished 17th at the feared Darlington before driving his way to a solid 6th place run at another Augusta event. But Rosier DNFed in his final two races that year and finished no better than 31st in either race.

But Rosier DNFed in his final two races that year and finished no better than 31st in either race. Rosier's final three races came in 1963, when he again started the year off at Augusta. Starting 6th in the field, Rosier completed all but four laps and wound up with a career-definining 4th place effort. Again, though, Rosier struggled at the end of his season, finishing 23rd at Columbia and 26th at Darlington.
