Peter Davison (born Peter Moffett, 1951-) plays Crown Prosecutor Henry Sharpe in Law & Order: UK. Outside of the show, he is best known for playing the fifth incarnation of the Doctor in the long-running BBC science-fiction show Doctor Who from 1981-84; he is the father in law of Tenth Doctor David Tennant.

He and Dickinson had previously appeared together in the three-part story A Man For Emily in the ITV Sci-Fi series The Tomorrow People (1975) and together composed and performed the theme tune to ITVs Button Moon, a lunchtime children's programme broadcast in the 1980s.
