| - When Kana gives you a report on Crossroad Keep, you’ll see an entry called "Time Passed," expressed as a percentage. This is commonly referred to as Keep time. This entry is somewhat misleading. You won’t ever run out of game time while working on the Keep. Time will advance when you enter the courtyard, and it’s this time that will control when special events occur (such as Daerred’s arrivals and letters, or the completion of special missions). Time advancement is conditional and will only happen if you've spoken to Veedle OR Kana. For example, you can improve your men's weapons and armor - these activities will not advance the timer (you need to build the smithy, though, which requires you to talk to Veedle once).
