North was the second actress to voice Daphne; she replaced Stefanianna Christopherson after the first season of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! due to the latter getting married and moving away. She continued to voice Daphne until 1997 (not counting A Pup Named Scooby-Doo), when Mary Kay Bergman took over. She returned temporarily for the retro-styled DTV films, Scooby-Doo! and the Legend of the Vampire and Scooby-Doo! and the Monster of Mexico.
