Hanada Shirō (花田史郎) is a new character that appeared in the DS-Port Miotsukushi-hen of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kizuna: Dai Yon Kan Kizuna; and was briefly mentioned in Kagebōshi-hen, but served as a secondary antagonist in Miotsukushi-hen. He was a former subordinate of Minai Tomoe and Fujita Shingo and he also used to work for Tomoe's late father in the past.

abstract	Hanada Shirō (花田史郎) is a new character that appeared in the DS-Port Miotsukushi-hen of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kizuna: Dai Yon Kan Kizuna; and was briefly mentioned in Kagebōshi-hen, but served as a secondary antagonist in Miotsukushi-hen. He was a former subordinate of Minai Tomoe and Fujita Shingo and he also used to work for Tomoe's late father in the past. It is implied that he works for "Tokyo", especially when he plans tricking Tsukada Satoshi on shipping "drug medications" that are supposed to supress Hinamizawa Syndrome for the former residents of Hinamizawa; but instead, it's a drug that increased hallucinations. Kimiyoshi Natsumi and Hatakeyama Aoi ( the son of the Retirement Center owner, whom Natsumi works for part-time) were victims of this false medication. It was later revealed that he was the one responsible of kidnapping Ozaki Nagisa in Tokihogushi-hen, and murdered Tomoe's father. After the revelation and betrayal Tomoe chased him in a high speed chase. Both of them were injured in the chase, but Tomoe captured Shirō and arrested him.
