Making Your Mind Up was the United Kingdom entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 1981 in Dublin performed by Bucks Fizz. It is a very up-tempo, high-energy song that included lots of choreography in the performance topped off with Mike Nolan and Bobby G ripping the skirts off of Cheryl Baker and Jay Aston. The song was performed fourteenth on the night following Norway and preceding Portugal. At the close of voting, the song won with 136 points - holding off the very strong German entry by a very slim margin. It was named the best British entry in 2013 by listeners of BBC's Radio 2.
