Circa 47 AB, Mailaine was one of more than twelve women who sat for her ajah (note the lowercase), in discussion of building a new city as a center of Aes Sedai power. It is highly likely that Mailaine became a renegade Aes Sedai after the talks of 47 AB, because from a letter dated 77 AB, it is stated that after the stilling of Lideine Rajan, Mailaine ceased her resistance and led her followers to kneel. It is not known if also Mailaine was stilled or instead enrolled in the White Tower.
