Legacy Punishments are offences that occurred the day before the first offence system update was launched on 6 June 2006. Legacy Punishments cannot be appealed and do not have recorded evidence. On the offence history page, a Legacy Punishment's 'Appeal Status' will show as 'Not Appealable' in purple text. Legacy punishments might be seen by some people as "unjust", because the player has no chance to appeal and explain himself. As of 11 May 2009, most if not all legacy punishments have expired due to them being of enough age to expire.

  • A Legacy Punishment is an offence that will appear on a player's list of offences if they had any offences from before Jagex launched their new offence system on 6 June 2006. It is a non-appealable offence and has no evidence. Because of the Offence System update launched on 11 May 2009, many Legacy Punishments have been removed due to them being of enough age.
