  • Cave Spiders are Neutral Mobs that were added in Update 0.11.0. They attack Players and inflict damage on them with Poison. Cave Spider poisoning can be healed using a Milk Bucket.
  • Cave Spiders are giant blue tarantulas that can only be found in Abandoned Mine Shafts. They're hard to find, but when encountered they can be very dangerous due to the their venom, and the fact that they tend to live in groups. __TOC__
  • Cave Spiders are giant arachnids found deep in the mountain caves of the Lost Land. The Blind Ones have managed to tame these creatures and use them as pets. These spiders made their first appearance in Turok 2: Seeds of Evil.
  • Cave Spider is a monster found in the Descent: Journeys in the Dark (Second Edition) base game.
  • The cave spiders of Ord Cestus were one of the dominant species on the sparsely populated planet. As their name suggest, the spiders lived in the natural caves that were found throughout the planet. They were most likely related to the Spider People of X'Ting history.
  • Cave Spiders are neutral mobs introduced after the release of 1.8, in the console versions and added in Pocket Edition in 0.11.0. They are only found in Caves. Cave spiders are smaller than regular Spiders and are re-textured to a dark blue. They are superior to and slightly more dangerous than normal spiders as they can fit through 0.5x1 holes (through half block holes) and can climb up walls, but they do have less health than ordinary Spiders, and may cause themselves to take fall damage.
  • A Cave Spider is a spider in the Dungeons of Acromedia. It is a pretty powerful spider!
  • If you're waiting outside of a room full of monsters, e.g. a treasure zoo, and wondering why the monsters aren't coming out despite being awake, then it may be because a cave spider is hiding under an item in the doorway. The same is true for other monsters that hide under objects. This can be used to your advantage by dropping items in front of advancing cave spiders.
  • Cave Spiders are hostile arthropods having similar behaviour to the regular Spider. They spawn from Monster Spawners in Abandoned Mineshafts, but not anywhere else unless the player interferes. They are a bit smaller than Spiders (1x1.5x0.5 blocks) and have a distinct bluish tinge, especially around the head. Cave Spiders, like Spiders, lunge to attack when you are close enough. When they hit, they inflict Poison on enemies, unlike normal Spiders, unless you are on Easy difficulty. It's a good thing they're rare. There is, thankfully, no special need to kill them, as they drop the same items as the more common and much less dangerous Spider. It can be difficult to dispose of the spawner, as it is surrounded by cobwebs which, of course, don't slow the spiders down at all.
