Nathan Flech is the first prime minister of the Republic of Cascadia and was born on June 9, 1967 in Seattle, Washington. Both his parents were agnostics and so were their children. He lived like a normal person besides the fact that he had very high grades in school, just barely earning him a valedictorian degree. He had studied politics and law in high school, was a member of his school's government and UN simulation, and was also first chair clarinet in the school's symphonic band. He registered for both Yale and Harvard universities, but eventually decided to attend Yale and earned Master's degrees in law, music, diplomacy and politics by the age of 28. When he was 34, he was elected to be a senator of Washington in Congress. By the age of 36, Everett had seceded from the union and independence began to stir in his home state. He saw this as an opportunity to become an even higher spot in government--Prime Minister of Cascadia.
