Brown dwarf (spectral type T1.5) which had a large storm observed on it 47 light years away. Over a course of several hours, the largest variation in brightness (30%) for a brown dwarf was observed. The best explanation is that large bright and dark patches were being rotated into view. Brown dwarfs are thought to have similar atmospheric characteristics to giant planets. Full name is 2MASS J21392676+0220226.
