The rules are easy. Each player must kick the ball around and try to score more goals than the opponent until 60 seconds are up. If it's a draw, you go to sudden death. (Except for Head Cup's first 3 games) Sudden death is when time runs out in a draw. Power bars no longer charge and you have to score on the opponent using pure skills. If you had a power shot ready it can be carried to sudden death and used once. The winner of the sudden death is the winner of the whole match.

The tips here will lead you to a good start and will answer most of the questions you may have. Should you have further questions after reading this guide, visit the chatroom or forums. There are several helpful players you will find who are glad to have new players to interact with. (There are also grumpy old sods that you should avoid, but you'll figure that out on your own.) As mentioned earlier, this is not an action game. This is a simulation game. If you want to go from noob to attacking JoJotheHuns entire empire in a week, this game may not be right for you. This game is for the more dedicated type of player that enjoys developing a large empire over quite a few months of time. You will spend several weeks or months developing your country to sustain an economy and, maybe someday, an army worth using in a fight. So, this guide will take you through the steps of setting up your country, improving its economy, and getting ready for your first fight. The absolute first thing you should understand is this: SimCountry is not a free game. You will have a 2 week trial period, after which you have to spend $4 per month to continue (paying at least 3 months at a time). Don't bother complaining. It doesn't help. Either cough up the cash or go find another game.

  • Since update R30 on April 6th 2016 you can start playing right away on any world of friends that have invited you, or on any public "social world" hosted by Playful. These are currently still under construction to ensure more fairplay though. Other than that (and additionally to that) you can "create" a number of your own worlds - these will still be hosted on Playful's online servers, but can be protected by you with a password, so you can either play solo there or only with your friends that you choose to invite. All game-worlds are suggested to host max. 100 players per world and max. 20 players online at the same time to avoid lags. When creating a world, don't forget to take a look at the options that you can set for each world (click the orange bar "advanced options"). You can: * set everyone visiting your world to the status of "visitor" (recommended to prevent griefing until you can give more authorization to reliable players by typing /promote visitor ) * disable PvP (PvP is currently enabled by default for new worlds, while PvP is disabled by default on social worlds hosted by Playful) * disable explosives (this will protect all structures from griefers playing with bombs, but also disables all Excavators and Fireworks) - you can also use Landclaims for protection on social worlds * "Peaceful Mode" (currently disabled by default. If enabled, no Creatures on this world will attack player-characters, but creatures will still fight back when players attack, hurt or tame them) * "carry over" recipes (if this option is enabled, then all common crafting-recipes that you have unlocked in other Creativerse-worlds will be known to your character in this world. If you uncheck the option, you can start your crafting-tree anew on this new world. On social worlds this option is disabled by default) * despite this you will always keep all the rare crafting-recipes that you have learned on any Creativerse-world, as well as all recipes that you have bought in the Store * enable or disable the ability for players (and yourself) to claim their/your own pieces of land on your world "Creation only" does not refer to any kind of creation-mode! Currently (as of R31 in May 2016) there is no creative-mode in Creativerse. It's in the pipeline for later on though. Instead "Creation only" means that you cannot change the mode ("peaceful" or not), landclaim-settings (either enabled or disabled) nor the carrying-over (or not) of recipes later on, because these settings will be set permanently for this world when creating it. However you can change all the other world-settings later on (and you can also change the password of your own worlds too) - by hitting ESC and clicking on the square-and-pen-symbol right next to your world's name below the picture, and then choosing "advanced options" by clicking on the orange button below. The camera-symbol in the top right corner of the picture of your world can be used to change the starting-picture (simply by clicking on this camera-symbol while looking at a scenery of your choice ingame). To improve your FPS you can set the region of Creativerse-servers for new worlds to either North America, Asia or Europe. This option also cannot be changed later on - except by asking the developers via e-mail or in the official forums. Please mind that none of the developers from Playful participates in this Wiki.
