Being a Galliard was particularly amazing for her, though she was better with the lorekeeping -- learning and sharing the stories she loved so well -- than with being an inspiration in battle. She found herself powerfully drawn to the Umbra and the spirits within, and after her Rite of Passage, spent an increasing amount of time there. Eventually, she didn't return from one of her Umbral voyages, and she spent nearly 15 years lost in the Umbra. In September of 2016, however, she finally managed to return. She was more spirit than flesh, but with the help of Monica, Felix, Derek, and others, was eventually able to cross the Gauntlet. While she obviously aged while she was away, she could pass for someone closer to her late teens than her late twenties.
