The Anaesthetist looked after Graeme Proctor when he was rushed into Weatherfield General after being hit by a car driven by David Platt in October 2010. Graeme was operated on and was unconscious but recovering when he opened his eyes to a ministering Tina McIntyre. She called the Anaesthetist who told her that it was a good sign and that all of his injuries were under control and he should recover fully - especially as they had now confirmed that there were no spinal injuries. David was charged with attempted murder but was himself diagnosed with a rare form of epilepsy which he truthfully claimed had affected him at the time of the crash. The charges were dropped.
