After landing on Ryloth, Rinzler, Typhuss, Fox, ARC trooper Tucker, six ARC troopers, six Storm Commandos, and four Shadow Guards landed on the planet and exited the frigate. They climbed up to a small hill to get a view over the valley. Once over the hill, they saw a terrible sight. Thousands of Vong soldiers and hundreds of Vong ships flew around a giant machine. After stealing a database from a nearby guard, they looked to see what it was. The Destructanator was it's name. Used by the Vong to destroy galaxies that they couldn't capture. Once they detonate it, the whole galaxy will be gone.

After stealing a database from a nearby guard, they looked to see what it was. The Destructanator was it's name. Used by the Vong to destroy galaxies that they couldn't capture. Once they detonate it, the whole galaxy will be gone. They snuck through the ranks of troops and landing pads full of fighters and got to the machine. The squad broke open through the nearest door and went in. The split up into groups, Typhuss, a Shadow Guard lieutenant named Aero, three ARCs, three Storm Commandos, and two Shadow Guards. They went up stairs toward the main reactor. Suddenly, a Vong guard noticed them and sounded a loud alarm. Typhuss donned his blasters, and Aero took out his lightsaber lance. They killed several incoming guards, but were forced to retreat. They fell down a large air vent and landed in a cell bay. After killing the guards, they found and freed Leeta, Tarna, who was weakened by a shot in her arm, and several other Twi'leks and stormtroopers. They all gathered around a databank. The only way was to destroy the machine from the inside. Typhuss turned to Leeta, Tarna, and the other soldiers. "You all get back to the frigate with Rinzler and the other troops and get out of here, while me and Fox stay here and destroy this thing. Aero and Rinzler will hold off the guards and give the rest of you cover." he said. "I will?" asked Aero. "Wait no, we are staying here." said Tarna. "No you're not. Now go." Typhuss said. They departed, and Fox and Typhuss ran to the reactor room.
